How to Sell a Laguna Niguel Home in December

Selling a Laguna Niguel home during the holiday season can be tricky, especially when you compound the historically slow month of December with an already slow market in general. But just because it’s December and the pool of buyers is smaller than normal doesn’t mean its impossible to sell your home this month. While some people may choose to take their homes of the market for the holidays, most Laguna Niguel realtors will tell you that its far better to keep you home listed then to give up completely. After all, it may be an uphill battle to sell a home in the Laguna Niguel real estate market this time of year, but you have no chance at all if you take your home off the market.

A great way to help make your home more appealing to the scant pool of buyers in December is to really cash in on the warmth of the Christmas season and captivate the visitors you do have with a festive home. From wreaths on the door to poinsettias on the mantle, a festive holiday house can make buyers more interested in your home. The decorations will help them feel more at home in your house and will hopefully inspire them to want to buy before the end of the year.

If you want to get mere tips for selling your Laguna Niguel home this holiday season, shoot me an email at Hugh@HughKice.com. You’ll be surprised at the simple things you can do today to help your home sell quickly!

Laguna Niguel Real Estate Mortgage Information

One of the most important aspects of buying a home in the Laguna Niguel real estate market, Dana Point real estate market or Mission Viejo real estate market is securing a mortgage for the home you want to buy. Without a mortgage, most people would be unable to buy a home. That’s why it’s so important to find a lender you trust and be pre-approved for a home loan before you begin the house hunting process in full force.

Mortgage pre-approval is easy. Your lender will ask you a few questions about your finances and will be able to give you a ball-park estimate of the amount of money you will qualify to borrow. This will not only help you narrow down your house hunting prices range, but it can also help you better understand your loan options.

If you don’t already have a lender you are working with, check out the Laguna Niguel real estateMortgage Information page on my website for great referrals and additional information. Or feel free to email me anytime at Hugh@HughKice.com.
